  PERSONALITY    Mostly a kind, shy and reserved man that enjoys helping people. Although friendly, Ariel can be very guarded about who he lets into his life.

Spoilered in case the player would rather learn through RPtldr Ariel is the youngest son of the Blewett family, known in the Shroud for their characteristic blue hair, eyes and long life span. Being the only one in his family with an excelent aptitude for magicks, he was raised in the South Shroud until old enough to join the Conjurer's guild in Gridania. The boy led a mostly quiet life, inseparable from his sister and best friend.As he grew up, so grew his desire for knowledge. Easily mastering the arts of conjury, Ariel thought himself above his peers and ready to take a step further. However, the padjals didn't agree, much to his dismay. Not willing to take 'no' for an answer, the blue-haired mage sought other sources to acquire the knowledge he desired.Successful in his quest, Ariel used to think the sky was the limit - which blinded him to forsee what was to come. After indirectly causing a most terrible, inexplicable accident that left almost an entire group of Wood Wailers dead and one of them - his sister - crippled for life, the boy who once thought himself above everything and everyone was shown how unforgiving reality can be on naivety.Filled with grief, anger and, above all, guilt, all that was left to do was pick up the scattered pieces of his pride and repent. Now with a broken aether and a shadow of the man he once was, the healer seeks to help others through other means beyond magick. He joined the Alchemists' Guild in Ul'dah and, later, would travel to Sharlayan to work on medical research.

  AT FIRST GLANCE    His presence itself brings out a calm, soothing feeling to anyone around him. The blue hair and eyes of matching color might be the most prominent characteristics that jumps to your eyes. The scar that cuts across his face, however, is a grotesque contrast to his otherwise gentle features. Of small stature, the man would easily fade out in the background were it not, perhaps, for his unusual hair. Although friendly, he might seem aloof to some.

  •   Healer for hire   Although busy with his work, he always makes time for anyone who needs help, especially adventurers.

  •   Gridanian   Anyone born and raised in the Shroud might have heard of him and/or of his odd family.

  •   Odd aether   For those with aethersense, they might notice the man is lacking, as in, it's clear he is only working with half of his capacity.

  • I used to play this character on two "timelines". His story is the same, the character is the same, although a few things diverge such as relationships and headcanons. I have decided to "delete" one of the AUs to start fresh, so he might not recognize people that he have RPed with before.
